Live CART Captioning Accessibility Specialist

Apply live CART captioning and accessibility expertise remotely on a project-based freelance engagement supporting virtual events and participant videos.

This independent contractor assignment combines real-time captioning with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA review. You will support webinars, Q&A sessions, and other live virtual events while accurately handling scientific, medical, health, and research terminology. The project also includes documenting video accessibility deficiencies and guiding participant remediation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate CART captioning for webinars and virtual events
• Caption scientific, medical, health, and research terminology
• Review participant videos for Section 508 and WCAG compliance
• Document deficiencies and provide clear remediation instructions
• Re-check corrected videos and coordinate throughout remediation

Requirements:

• Professional Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA experience
• Live CART captioning experience for webinars or virtual events
• Video caption and multimedia accessibility review experience
• Accurate scientific, medical, and research terminology captioning
• Strong attention to detail and compliance documentation skills
