Live Entertainment Operations Accountant

Support live entertainment settlements at Live Nation Entertainment in Toronto, using reconciliation and advanced Excel across a full-time contract.

This Operations Accountant manages show accounting from pre-settlement through month-end reporting. The role partners with promoters, artist representatives, and production staff while handling entries, approvals, reconciliations, and close activities. Oracle or Salesforce capability, advanced Excel, and accounting experience support accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with pre-settlement and night-of-show artist settlements
• Enter show settlements and distribute reports to stakeholders
• Prepare artist settlement wires and recognize required deductions
• Reconcile revenues, costs, accruals, receivables, and payables
• Complete month-end close and report show contribution margins

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Three to five years of accounting experience
• Strength in accounts payable, receivable, accrual, and cash reconciliation
• Strong Oracle or Salesforce capability and advanced Excel
• Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and required travel
