LLVM compiler engineer

In this Senior/Principal role, you will advance Codasip’s LLVM-based compiler to support embedded CPU cores, including RISC-V with CHERI security. You’ll collaborate with Embedded Software and processor design teams to optimize software and guide microarchitectural decisions, while exploring new compute architectures. You’ll mentor juniors and share expertise across the team, contributing to Codasip’s shift toward architecture-first security solutions. This role offers high-impact work at the intersection of security, compiler technology, and cutting-edge hardware.

• LLVM compiler development and customization for Codasip cores
• Provide deep technical software guidance to Embedded Software team and customers
• Develop capabilities, skills, and processes within the team
• Collaborate with processor design teams to optimize microarchitectural performance
• Explore compiler tech to support novel compute architectures
• Work with Studio EDA tool compiler team to improve the tool
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge

• In-depth knowledge of the LLVM compiler
