Overview

As Lead Analyst in Loan Documentation and Processing, you will manage end-to-end loan documentation, closing loans in a complex operations environment, and guide teams to deliver accurate outcomes. You’ll contribute to policy development, drive process improvements, and partner with product, sales, and technology stakeholders to uphold service quality. You’ll lead initiatives that improve efficiency and reduce cost, while coaching junior staff and maintaining risk controls. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on processing to support Citi’s loan operations at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Manage preparation and review of loan documentation and support the loan process flow
  • Independently process and close loans within a complex operations environment
  • Oversee daily performance of loan documentation processes to ensure timely delivery
  • Develop and implement business plans, policies, and procedures; lead projects and cost-saving initiatives
  • Own margins, KPIs, and SLAs for the group; ensure integrity of processes and results
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff; mentor team members
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal/external clients and stakeholders; influence where needed
  • Identify service quality gaps and drive process or technology improvements
Key requirements
  • Extensive years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Business Processes, Systems and Tools used in the Loan Process
  • Understanding of Loan Processes, Procedures, Products and Services
  • Awareness of risk types, policies and control measures
  • Comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and adhere to policies
  • Bachelor’s/University degree; Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Communication and diplomacy

  • Coaching and mentoring
  • Knowledge of loan documentation processes and related tools/systems
  • Risk assessment and controls
  • Data interpretation for KPIs and SLAs
