Position Summary:
We are seeking a Loan Processor to join our lending team. This role is responsible for managing the loan application process, ensuring accuracy in documentation, maintaining regulatory compliance, and providing outstanding service to our members. Key Responsibilities: Conduct loan interviews and process applications in person or over the phone. Prepare and review loan documentation for all branches. Disburse and close various types of loans. Post loans and reconcile balances at the end of the business day. Schedule and coordinate loan closings. Release titles for paid-off auto loans. Assist the VISA Credit department with inquiries and tasks as needed. Promote credit union products and services to members. Ensure compliance with all lending regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements. Provide support at branch offices as requested by management. Perform additional lending-related duties as directed by the VP of Lending.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in loan processing or lending preferred. Knowledge of lending practices, loan documentation, and regulatory compliance. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with data processing and internet-based systems. Flexibility to work across multiple branch locations as needed.
