Local Networking Engineer

In this Network Engineer role, you will plan, design, and optimize Arcadis’ network and security infrastructure to enable secure, scalable operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support IP telephony, video conferencing, and monitoring systems, driving digital transformation. You’ll test new technologies, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to resilient, mission-critical connectivity across global stakeholders. • Plan, design, and optimize network and security infrastructure (routers, switches, wireless, firewalls, VPN, IPS/IDS)
• Provide network engineering support for IP telephony and video conferencing
• Plan and deploy other network and security-related systems
• Evaluate products, research emerging technologies, and provide top-tier troubleshooting for Network Operations
• Assist in defining connectivity targets and align solutions with business requirements
• Maintain and secure Network Management & Monitoring Systems for mission-critical equipment
• Contribute to developing best-fit solutions with security, risk, and continuity considerations

• Provides 3rd level support
• Involved in crisis management for high-priority incidents
