Localization QA Automation Developer Co-op

Build localization QA automation at Motorola Solutions in Vancouver, using Python and automated testing frameworks within a full-time co-op.

This intern role supports Product Content Globalization and stakeholder teams developing UI testing automation and globalization platforms. You will address i18n defects, create localization tools, and help optimize technology stacks with responsible AI use. The work spans software localization, global user experiences, and post-translation engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own UI layout testing for localized software products
• Create and maintain automation scripts for testing workflows
• Develop transformation scripts for localization-friendly file formats
• Analyze source code to trigger strings for linguistic testing
• Execute post-translation engineering tasks across languages

Requirements:

• Enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or Master's program
• Knowledge of Python, Bash, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C++
• Familiarity with Playwright, Selenium, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of internationalization and localization principles
• Strong programming, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
