Support logistics technology as an Applications Developer with Sobeys, using SQL and troubleshooting skills across designated Canadian offices.

This full-time Applications Developer maintains and enhances logistics solutions while collaborating with business, solution, infrastructure, and service teams. You will support reliable platforms through application assistance, software delivery, testing, and continuous improvement. The work spans operational maintenance and the Software Development Life Cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for internal and third-party applications
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues
  • Participate in on-call and after-hours incident support
  • Design, develop, test, implement, and support software solutions
  • Create operational and technical documentation

Requirements:

  • Information Technology degree or diploma and three years’ experience
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of application support and software development practices
  • Working knowledge of SQL, DB2, Oracle, and Informix
  • Exposure to AIX and AS400 environments
