Logistics Applications Developer

Develop logistics applications for Sobeys using SQL, troubleshooting, and software delivery skills from one of several Canadian offices. This full-time opportunity supports logistics technology solutions.

As a Logistics Applications Developer, you will maintain, enhance, and support internal and third-party solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, solution teams, infrastructure teams, and service teams. The work includes application reliability, performance, continuous improvement, and software development lifecycle activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide application support and technical assistance for logistics solutions
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues
• Participate in on-call and after-hours incident support
• Support solution design, development, testing, and implementation
• Create operational, technical, and end-user documentation

Requirements:

• Information Technology degree or diploma and three years’ relevant experience
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of application support and software development practices
• Working knowledge of SQL, DB2, Oracle, and Informix
• Exposure to AIX and AS400 environments
