Overview

In this role you will link Longevity and Finsol performance with Financial Reporting, driving planning, analysis and performance analytics for SCOR's Longevity/Finsol portfolios. You will own KPI aggregation and reporting, collaborate across Finance and L&H teams, and translate results into clear insights for executives. You support data quality, tooling, and the simplification of processes to free time for analysis, making a measurable impact on portfolio performance.

Responsibilities
  • Own quarterly KPI aggregation and analysis for Longevity and Finsol across Macro Markets; contribute to landing process, quarterly finance memos, and business planning exercises
  • Improve understanding and reporting of key metrics: New Business CSM, Risk Margin, Risk Adjustment, CSM, and S&P Capital
  • Review annual Experience Analysis from Longevity/Finsol teams and reconcile with KPIs; perform ad-hoc portfolio analyses during performance reviews
  • Assist L&H and broader Finance in data quality improvements
  • Communicate performance insights to finance and L&H stakeholders; promote adoption of new KPIs and explain drivers and implications
  • Contribute to transformation and tooling to maximize analysis over production work (80/20 split) and support wider group tech developments
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across Finance and related teams and drive timely financial performance communications
Key requirements
  • Newly Qualified Actuary up to 5 years in life insurance/pensions/reinsurance/consultancy
  • Attention to detail; highly organized; ability to coordinate across teams
  • Excellent written and oral communication; professional presence
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines; good teamwork and collaboration
  • Understanding of Longevity/Finsol financial aspects including collateral (preferred)
  • Experience in pension/annuities offices (preferred)
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting, Solvency II and IFRS17 (preferred)
  • Advanced Word and PowerPoint; Expert Excel (pivot tables, macros); Python or R (advantage)
