M&A Analyst Acquisition Execution

Apply financial modeling and valuation analysis with Harris in Ottawa, supporting acquisition execution and capital deployment strategy. The role includes approximately 10–25% travel.

Harris, an operating group of Constellation Software Inc., seeks an M&A Analyst or Associate. You will evaluate acquisition opportunities, support transactions, and work with senior M&A professionals and business unit leaders. Experience in M&A, corporate finance, accounting, or transaction services is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build financial models and assess transaction returns
• Coordinate due diligence with functional teams
• Prepare investment memoranda and committee presentations
• Assist negotiations, deal structuring, and execution
• Support post-close monitoring and integration hand-offs

Requirements:

• 0–2+ years’ relevant experience for Analyst candidates
• 2–5+ years’ relevant experience for Associate candidates
• Experience with financial modeling and deal analysis
• Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Undergraduate degree and fluent English
