M&A Associate Software Acquisitions

Lead software acquisition analysis through financial modeling, valuation, and diligence in a high-volume M&A team supporting multiple markets.

The Associate works across sourcing, evaluation, and transaction execution for specialized software businesses. You will collaborate with the company’s M&A and executive teams while engaging owners, advisors, and bankers. The position provides exposure to different industries and business models across the full M&A lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate acquisitions with M&A and executive teams
• Lead conversations with owners, advisors, and bankers
• Prepare financial, non-financial, valuation, and operational analyses
• Conduct diligence and draft investment memorandums for board approval
• Craft integration strategy and support acquired businesses

Requirements:

• Degree in Business or Finance from a competitive institution
• Minimum four years of M&A experience
• Expertise building financial models and structured analysis
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technology understanding and software industry passion
