Machine Learning Compiler Engineer

Build ML/AI compiler capabilities at Qualcomm Canada ULC using C++, Python, and performance analysis across future hardware and software.

This Machine Learning Engineer develops production and exploratory compilers for efficient mappings of ML/AI algorithms. The work connects PyTorch with Qualcomm compiler flows and examines workloads across technology designs. You will contribute within cross-site, cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and evolve Qualcomm ML/AI compilers
• Implement algorithms for high performance and low power
• Couple PyTorch efficiently to compiler flows
• Analyze network design trends and hardware implications
• Explore performance, area, and power trade-offs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field
• Strong algorithm development and performance analysis background
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Object-oriented design, C++, and Python knowledge are assets
