Machine Learning Compiler Engineer

Build machine learning compilers and performance models at Qualcomm in Markham, using C++ and Python for efficient Qualcomm hardware mappings.

As a Machine Learning Engineer on Qualcomm’s ML Systems Team, you will develop production and exploratory compiler solutions. Your work connects PyTorch frameworks with Qualcomm ML/AI compiler flows while analyzing algorithms and workloads. You will support future hardware and software decisions through performance, area, and power studies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and evolve Qualcomm ML/AI compilers
• Implement algorithms for high-performance, low-power hardware mappings
• Couple PyTorch efficiently to compiler flows
• Create C++ and Python performance-driven simulation components
• Analyze simulations and recommend hardware and software enhancements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field
• Strong algorithm development and performance analysis background
• Strong C++ and Python knowledge
• Compiler design and development experience is an asset
