Overview

In this role you will lead predictive analytics initiatives for a major financial software client, shaping data strategy and delivering production ML solutions. You’ll work with cross-functional business SMEs to translate ambiguous needs into actionable data products. Expect to tackle credit risk, fraud, collections and marketing analytics, and contribute to R&D projects in the digital space. This is a high-velocity, production-focused consultancy role at a tech-forward fintech environment with a strong emphasis on impact and ownership.

Responsibilities
  • Implement ML-based solutions for corporate clients and ensure production delivery
  • Define data architecture and data management requirements with business stakeholders
  • Extract and model data from diverse and unclean sources for analytics
  • Present data-centric solutions and design robust architectures
  • Consult on data strategy, KPIs, and reporting outputs
  • Lead or contribute to R&D projects in the digital space
Key requirements
  • >2 years professional experience in data science / ML consultancy
  • Client-facing consultancy experience and ability to clarify ambiguous requirements
  • Strong foundation in probability and statistics
  • Experience with ML techniques (linear/logistic regression, boosting, kNN)
  • Python proficiency
  • Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Theano, Caffe, Torch)
  • Delivery of production ML solutions, not just analyses
