Machine Learning Developer Co-op

Develop Machine Learning software with Python at Kinaxis, gaining hands-on experience in production systems. Work remotely across Canada or in Ottawa or Toronto three days weekly.

This full-time co-op or internship begins January 2027 for four or eight months. You will build supply chain planning solutions for Maestro users while learning from a mentor and working across development, deployment, and platform improvement. The placement suits students and recent graduates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write Python code for microservice architectures
• Contribute to scalable, secure AI platform improvements
• Support technology selection and production code development
• Participate in agile planning, huddles, pairing, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality solutions

Requirements:

• Current full-time enrollment or recent graduation within twelve months
• At least two years of Computer Science or Engineering study
• Hands-on Machine Learning experience through work terms or hackathons
• Curiosity and passion for solving real problems with Machine Learning
• Optimization or statistical inference experience is an asset

Build Python microservices and Machine Learning solutions while contributing to Kinaxis supply chain planning technology.
