Machine Learning Engineer I

As Machine Learning Engineer I, you will design, build, and optimize intelligent systems that deliver measurable business impact. You’ll own the full lifecycle from data to deployed models and compound AI systems, collaborating with a global team to solve real-world problems at scale in travel. You will apply AI techniques, analyze data, and communicate insights clearly to partners and leadership. • Develop and implement AI/ML solutions using techniques such as deep learning, generative AI, and statistical modeling
• Write robust code and apply analytical thinking to build practical business solutions
• Analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights and drive decision-making
• Frame issues, structure analyses, and produce ML models and integrated AI systems
• Communicate complex data science topics clearly to partners and senior leadership
• Collaborate with a global team across continents to achieve project goals

• 2+ years of experience, preferably with a master’s degree or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of AI techniques and statistics
• Understanding of LLMs, guardrails, RAG, and agentic AI
• Hands-on Python programming
• Experience with scikit-learn, Hugging Face, PyTorch, TensorFlow
• Experience with MLFlow, AWS SageMaker and Bedrock preferred
• Familiar with MLOps concepts, SQL and PySpark
• Experience with feature stores, ML models as a service, and monitoring dashboards a plus
• Some infrastructure knowledge (AWS, Kubernetes) and cost-awareness a plus
