Machine Learning Engineering Manager

Build production machine learning systems at Homebase while leading data scientists and partnering with platform engineering. Work in a hybrid, AI-first environment.

As Manager, Data Science, you will connect applied machine learning with product delivery and business decisions. Your scope includes intelligent scheduling, hiring, payroll, pricing, personalization, and internal targeting systems. You will help move models from proof-of-concept into production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support end-to-end delivery of production models
• Lead model development for product features and internal systems
• Partner with platform engineering on production delivery
• Champion A/B and multivariate experimentation
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design

Requirements:

• 6+ years in data science, applied machine learning, or AI development
• 2+ years in people leadership
• Experience with optimization, traditional ML, or frontier models
• Proven record shipping ML models into production
• Proficient in SQL and Python
