Machine Vision Engineer

Forge Consulting Group is recruiting a Machine Vision Engineer for an innovative company specializing in industrial automation, machine vision, and automated inspection solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, program, and commission machine vision and automation systems at customer sites.
• Develop and implement 2D and 3D machine vision applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide technical support.
• Support vision-guided robotics and automated inspection solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and customers to deliver customized solutions.

Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 1–2 years of experience assisting with machine vision programming.
• Knowledge of PLCs, robotics, electronics, and automation systems.
• Programming knowledge, including Microsoft Visual C#, is an asset.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Valid Ontario G driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel across Canada, the U.S., and potentially internationally.
• Ability to meet applicable U.S. work authorization requirements; police clearance required upon hire.
