We are looking for an experienced Tandem/Mainframe Developer to join the RBC team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on experience with Tandem/HP NonStop and Mainframe technologies , preferably within the banking or financial services domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain applications on Tandem/HP NonStop and Mainframe platforms.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Perform coding, testing, debugging, and production support.
  • Troubleshoot application and system issues.
  • Work with cross‑functional teams to deliver application changes.
  • Support application enhancements, maintenance, and releases.
  • Prepare technical documentation as required.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Tandem / HP NonStop .
  • Knowledge of COBOL and JCL .
  • Experience with application development, testing, and production support.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with RBC or other major banking environments .
  • Experience with Tandem COBOL, NonStop, TAL, or related technologies .
