Mainframe Technical Consultant - Mainframe AIOPS

In this role you help customers adopt Broadcom software for MAINFRAME environments, focusing on analysis, demonstrations, installations, configurations, deployments, and PoCs. You will work with sales and technical teams to translate customer needs into effective solutions and prove value through hands-on engagements. The opportunity emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, technical expertise, and delivering measurable outcomes for Broadcom’s clients in Europe. You will contribute to technical leadership, solution architecture, and customer success during complex deployments.

• Assist sales by technically qualifying Broadcom MAINFRAME solutions and articulating benefits to customers and partners
• Collaborate with account teams to understand customer needs and architect tailored solutions
• Build and share knowledge about customer infrastructure and potential technical impacts of projects
• Lead technical demonstrations and proofs of concept, adapting to customer environments
• Maintain deep technical knowledge of Broadcom products and provide required technical specifications
• Present Broadcom differentiators and guide customers through trials, POCs, and complex demos
• Coordinate internal/external resources to pursue opportunities and ensure alignment with processes
• Support proposal development, solution overview, SOWs, and need-based sales methodologies
• Enable partners through training and opportunity engagement
• Adhere to compliance and Code of Ethics
• Travel ~50% for business
• Operate with minimal supervision and contribute to higher-level projects

• Bachelor in Computer Science (or related)
• 10+ years of detailed MAINFRAME technical experience
• Experience with customers, sales personnel, or customer services
• Experience resolving complex technical issues and integrating multiple products to form solutions
• English native proficiency and proficiency in Major European languages
• Eligible to permanently reside and work in the UK
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in virtual teams
• Knowledge of mainframe tools and term-level familiarity with relevant domains
