Mainframe Test Analyst Toronto

Apply mainframe testing expertise at TD in Toronto, using Java, SQL, Selenium, and enterprise test automation. This role offers 37.5-hour workweeks.

As a Mainframe Test Analyst within Technology Solutions, you will work with the POD and Application Development teams. The position covers test planning, in-sprint testing, system integration testing, end-to-end testing, and defect triage. You will apply mainframe knowledge across IMS DB, DB2, JCL, CICS, and SPUFI while supporting quality engineering within the DevOps pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements with the POD team
• Create test plans, scenarios, and detailed test cases
• Perform in-sprint, SIT, and E2E testing
• Automate mainframe online screens using Java and Selenium
• Create JTMF defects and conduct defect triage

Requirements:

• Two to three years of hands-on mainframe testing experience
• Experience with ISPF/TSO, CICS screens, and SPUFI queries
• Knowledge of IMS DB, DB2, JCL, and Procs
• Experience validating spool job logs and host files
• Required SAFe or Scrum certification
