Overview

As a Manager in EY’s Cybersecurity Practice, you will lead complex security engineering engagements across IT and OT at scale. You’ll align security roadmaps with business priorities and regulatory obligations, while guiding delivery, scoping, and risk management. You’ll mentor junior staff, contribute to business development, and help grow a high-performing security team. This role offers cross-site collaboration and exposure to global client challenges. You’ll impact client security posture and EY’s transformation agenda.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver complex cybersecurity engineering engagements across multiple sites and regions, ensuring technical excellence and client alignment.
  • Align security roadmaps to operational priorities, risk appetite, and regulatory obligations.
  • Deliver engineering delivery: plan scope, schedule, resources, and risks.
  • Implement security measures from blueprints (firewall configurations, network segmentation, VLANs, ACLs, secure site-to-cloud connectivity).
  • Produce engineering artefacts including build standards, configuration baselines and as-built documentation.
  • Mentor and coach junior staff, conduct performance reviews, and support professional development.
  • Support business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
  • Contribute to recruiting, retaining, and training cybersecurity professionals.

Key requirements
  • Experience in cybersecurity with onsite delivery experience (OT exposure desirable).
  • Strong network engineering skills (routing, switching, VLANs, ACLs, NAT), firewall rulebase, design/optimisation, and network segmentation.
  • Experience implementing secure remote and local access and privileged access (e.g. PAM, jump hosts, PAW).
  • Working knowledge of NCSC CAF, EU NIS2, NIST CSF and CCNA/CCNP-level networking."
  • Willingness to travel for client delivery (domestic and international).
