Manager Data Operations Snowflake

Lead Snowflake data operations for Alexion in Mississauga, coordinating specialty pharmacy data and daily delivery reliability. This hybrid schedule averages three office days weekly.

As Manager, Data Operations, you will govern commercial data supporting US Commercial strategy and execution. You will use SQL, Snowflake, Python, Airflow, and dbt while coordinating business, engineering, and vendor teams. The work spans data feeds, pipelines, quality controls, and operational fixes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own data feed specifications, mappings, testing, deployment, and handover
• Monitor freshness, completeness, failures, recovery, and stakeholder communications
• Investigate discrepancies using SQL profiling and reconciliation
• Develop reusable data products with engineers and quality controls
• Manage Jira priorities, incidents, releases, and vendor escalations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• At least five years in data operations or related work
• Strong SQL and practical Snowflake knowledge
• Working knowledge of Python, Airflow, and dbt
• Experience with pharmaceutical commercial data
