Overview

As a GCP Technical Lead at PA, you will steer Google Cloud Platform solutions for diverse clients, setting direction and delivering outcomes. You’ll lead architectural discussions, coach teams, and own DevSecOps practices across programs. You act as a key client liaison and technical authority, shaping scalable, secure, cloud-based services. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic guidance in a collaborative, client-facing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead design and delivery of GCP-enabled solutions for varied clients
  • Drive high-level architectural discussions and set technical direction
  • Own DevSecOps processes across one or more teams and establish robust patterns
  • Engage regularly with clients as a primary technical contact and advisor
  • Coach and mentor team members; contribute to technical account management
  • Support multi-team programs with centralized expertise for large initiatives
  • Contribute to shaping the program’s technical strategy and outcomes
  • Maintain focus on PA’s reputation through quality delivery and corrective actions when needed
Key requirements
  • Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform products in one or more categories (serverless, Kubernetes, data services, security controls)
  • Strong architectural concepts; microservices, event-driven design, and database knowledge
  • Development/scripting skills (Python, Node, Bash)
  • Security best practices for access control, data protection and communications
  • Experience with DevOps tooling in Google ecosystem (Cloud Build) and possibly Terraform
  • Client-facing communication skills and ability to convey complex issues clearly
  • Clear communication with clients and peers
