Overview
In this role you will lead IT governance and delivery in a FCA-regulated financial services environment, with a Mandarin-speaking requirement. You will manage policies, risk, vendor relationships, and IT continuity while aligning IT operations with regulatory expectations. The position combines hands-on system management with governance, audits, and resilience planning. It offers a strategic opportunity to shape IT governance and risk practices within a compliant, infrastructure-focused setting.
Responsibilities- Own and enforce IT policies and standards (e.g., access control, change management, asset management) and ensure audit-ready evidence.
- Oversee core IT infrastructure and user provisioning in line with Joiners-Movers-Leavers controls.
- Manage IT service providers, MSPs, SaaS vendors, and technology suppliers, including contracts and SLAs.
- Lead IT for FCA audits, internal reviews, and compliance assessments with documented controls and backups.
- Own IT aspects of BCP and DR planning, testing, and documentation.
- Limited hands-on administration of systems, licenses, and access rights; oversee support queues and escalation handling.
- Fluent in Mandarin
- Third-line IT support experience within the finance or banking sector
- Proven IT management experience in an FCA-regulated or financial services environment
- Broad technical competence (Microsoft stack, cloud services AWS/Azure, identity management)
