Manufacturing Plant Controller Ontario

Lead manufacturing finance in Ontario through advanced Excel, cost accounting, and operational analysis as a hands-on Plant Controller supporting plant leadership.

This Plant Controller oversees plant-level accounting and financial activities for a growing manufacturing operation. The position partners with leadership on profitability, productivity, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, inventory controls, financial reporting, compliance, and day-to-day manufacturing support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead plant accounting and accurate financial reporting
• Manage monthly close, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans
• Maintain standard costing and manufacturing variance analysis
• Present KPIs and financial results to leadership

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Five or more years of progressive manufacturing finance experience
• Strong cost accounting, inventory, and standard costing background
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience
• Strong analytical, communication, and business partnering skills
