Market Risk Governance Analyst

Apply analytical and control testing skills to Market Risk governance at BMO Financial Group in Toronto. Support oversight across the second line of defense.

This Analyst role supports BMO’s Market Risk compliance and governance program. You will maintain risk and control inventories, regulatory mappings, and monitoring activities while developing expertise in risk management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. The work involves collaboration across first and second lines of defense.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute control testing and document results
• Maintain Market Risk PRC and regulatory inventories
• Support Monitoring and Testing Plan activities
• Prepare governance materials and senior management reporting
• Analyze information and escalate control gaps appropriately

Requirements:

• One to two years of relevant experience
• Post-secondary degree or equivalent education and experience
• Knowledge of risk management and internal controls
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office proficiency
