Overview

In this role you support the EMEA Markets Treasury by optimizing the firm’s financial resources and balance sheet. You will partner with trading desks, technology, and analytics teams to drive efficiency and resilience in liquidity, capital, and leverage. You’ll analyze desk profitability, assess regulatory impacts, and contribute to the data and analytics agenda. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with meaningful impact on the Markets business and its growth.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as SME and trusted advisor on financial resource topics
  • Build and maintain relationships with trading desks to understand needs and drivers of resource consumption
  • Partner with trading desks to optimize financial resource usage
  • Analyze trading desk profitability using key financial metrics
  • Assess the impact of regulatory changes and support advocacy
  • Understand competitive landscape and binding constraints for peers
  • Provide treasury guidance on infrastructure offerings with strong resource impact (clearing, collateral, liquidity)
  • Collaborate with Treasury Data & Analytics, technology, and quant teams
  • Develop and enhance tools and analytics to support business objectives
  • Communicate complex concepts clearly to stakeholders
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Key requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
  • Few years of related experience in Treasury, Trading, or Financial Resource Management
  • Understanding of Basel III RWA, GSIB, liquidity, leverage, and regulatory margin
  • Knowledge of financing, cash, and derivative products
  • Experience with large data sets and trend analysis
  • Experience with Python, SQL, Tableau, AWS, Databricks, or AI tools
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to interact with business, management, and control functions
  • Organized self-starter with ability to learn quickly and work under pressure
