Overview

In this role you lead functional design, configuration, and delivery of IBM Maximo/MAS implementations, translating business needs into scalable, enterprise-grade solutions. You bridge solution architecture and delivery teams to balance business outcomes with engineering constraints, while minimizing customisation. You’ll guide cross-functional workstreams, support testing and adoption, and ensure governance and traceability. This is a hands-on leadership role shaping how asset-intensive operations are managed at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Translate requirements into detailed functional designs
  • Lead fit-gap analysis and Maximo module configuration
  • Define asset structures, workflows, job plans, and maintenance strategies
  • Own delivery across design, build, test, and deployment
  • Lead and coordinate functional consultants and configuration teams
  • Support SIT/UAT, defect resolution, and solution validation
  • Facilitate workshops to validate requirements and designs
  • Act as primary interface between business stakeholders and delivery teams
  • Support adoption through clear articulation of system changes
  • Ensure adherence to design standards, governance, and documentation
  • Maintain requirements traceability and configuration integrity
  • Define data structures and support integrations with ERP, PLM, and enterprise systems
  • Align data migration and data quality to target models
  • Standardise target business processes and ways of working
Key requirements
  • Experience leading teams to deliver IBM Maximo/MAS implementations (functional/techno-functional)
  • Strong understanding of EAM processes (asset, work, maintenance, inventory)
  • Hands-on Maximo configuration experience
  • Experience in fit-gap, functional design, and delivery execution
  • Understanding of integration concepts and data models
  • Data migration and data quality considerations
  • Ability to operate between Solution Architecture and delivery teams
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation capability
