MEDICAL RECORDS

DUTIES:

  • Maintains information within the EMR system

  • Ensures charts are complete and filed properly

  • Scans lab reports, consultations, office notes, messages, etc. into appropriate charts on an ongoing basis.

  • Prints chart information as needed for the licensed practitioner to review or for any reviews or legal needs

  • Follows all the HIPPA rules for giving and receiving patient information.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Nursing home experience

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Solid organizational, communication, and follow up skills.

  • Should be friendly and a team player.

  • Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs.
