Medicines Value Data Analyst

Analyse medicines expenditure with Power BI and Excel for Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Support evidence-based, cost-effective decisions across the Trust.

This Pharmacy Data Analyst supports the Medicines Value and Biologics team. You will interpret usage, activity, and expenditure data, focusing on high-cost drugs, biologics, and biosimilars. Your work supports medicines optimisation, Cost Improvement Programmes, and gain share agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse medicines usage, activity, and expenditure data
• Develop dashboards using Power BI, Rx-Info, and Excel
• Identify prescribing variation, trends, and outliers
• Produce routine and ad hoc analytical reports
• Support tracking and validation of medicines-related savings

Requirements:

• Experience using Power BI, Rx-Info, and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to interpret complex medicines data accurately
• Understanding of high-cost drugs and biologics reporting
• Knowledge of data quality and information governance requirements
• Ability to communicate insights to varied stakeholders
