Merchandising Data Analyst SQL Forecasting

Use SQL and advanced Excel to analyze merchandising data for T&T Supermarket, supporting replenishment planning from Monday through Friday. Monitor sales, inventory, and forecasting information to guide timely product availability.

Reporting to the Manager, Merchandising Planning, the Merchandising Data Analyst supports the Merchandising Planning and Data team. The position analyzes monthly sales and inventory, maintains replenishment data, and coordinates with vendors and shipping teams. Candidates with less experience may be considered for Assistant Merchandising Data Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze abnormal sales history through monthly sales and inventory reviews
• Design and maintain replenishment data in systems
• Coordinate vendors and shipping teams for on-time product arrival
• Monitor replenishment KPIs and maintain purchasing records
• Track forecasting errors and improve forecast accuracy

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, data analysis, or related disciplines
• Minimum one year purchasing or demand forecasting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and intermediate to advanced Excel
• Mandatory working experience with SQL
• Strong data analysis and analytical problem-solving ability
