MES Industrial Integration Analyst

Support MES and industrial integration at Magna through Ignition, Kepware, OPC connectivity, and production-data pathways across manufacturing systems. Work across plant-floor and information systems.

This analyst plans, develops, integrates, supports, and improves manufacturing execution systems for Modatek Systems. The work spans production reporting, traceability, SQL, APIs, dashboards, databases, and approved IIoT initiatives. Collaboration includes Controls and Engineering, Production, Quality, Maintenance, ERP, infrastructure, data, and solution providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, test, deploy, maintain, and support approved MES applications
• Design approved data flows among PLC systems, OPC, Kepware, and MES
• Triage application, integration, database, network, and equipment incidents
• Implement manufacturing-data accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and traceability controls
• Maintain architecture, interface, support, deployment, and recovery documentation

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in automation, robotics, controls, or related discipline
• Experience with MES or industrial applications
• Preferred experience with Ignition, Kepware, OPC, SQL, APIs, or reporting
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, testing, and structured troubleshooting
• Strong documentation, communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills
