Metadata Lead

As Metadata Lead, you will own the enterprise metadata capability, shaping how data is discovered, governed, and trusted. You will define the metadata tooling roadmap and ensure Collibra and Unity Catalog operate cohesively, partnering with data owners, stewards, and IT to translate regulatory and technical needs into scalable business outcomes. You will drive adoption, measure value, and continuously improve metadata-driven governance. This role offers impact across data governance, quality, and data migration programs in a data-driven organisation.

• Design, own, and deliver the metadata roadmap
• Lead Collibra and Unity Catalog configuration and value initiatives
• Use metadata tooling to support Data Governance and Data Quality outcomes
• Promote metadata value through forums, workshops, and demos
• Leverage metadata to optimise and automate governance processes
• Support major data migration and business integration programmes
• Establish and track measurable performance metrics to demonstrate value

• Strong Metadata Expertise with Collibra (cataloguing and lineage)
• Hands-on experience with Databricks Unity Catalog
• Delivery leadership in designing and executing roadmaps
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business benefits
• Governance and Data Quality best practices with metadata tooling experience
