Metals Mining Investment Banking Analyst

Build financial models and valuation analyses as a Metals & Mining Investment Banking Analyst with Cantor Fitzgerald in Toronto. Support cross-border transactions.

Working within Cantor Fitzgerald's Metals & Mining investment banking team, you will advise clients on strategic and financial initiatives. The Analyst supports mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, restructurings, and other advisory assignments. Responsibilities span transaction execution, due diligence, presentation materials, and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze historical and projected financial information
• Perform financial analyses and create valuation models
• Coordinate due diligence for industry and company transactions
• Prepare confidential memoranda and client marketing presentations
• Support cross-border deals with senior bankers and deal teams

Requirements:

• Zero to three years of relevant work experience
• Undergraduate degree with minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0
• Working knowledge of corporate finance, valuation, and accounting
• Strong quantitative, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously
