About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and analytical MI Analyst to join our Reporting & Analytics team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a wide range of business and financial data, helping deliver reporting, insights, and improvements across the firm. You'll be responsible for producing reports and dashboards, analysing data, supporting business users, and helping improve reporting processes and data quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and dashboards.
  • Produce client reports to meet specific content and formatting requirements.
  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support data quality and data cleansing activities.
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from teams across the firm.
  • Work closely with Finance, Business Services, and other stakeholders to provide accurate and timely information.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and internal clients to deliver an excellent service.

About You

You are an organised and detail-oriented analyst who enjoys working with data and solving problems. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities and building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Skills & Experience

Essential: Previous experience in an MI, reporting, business intelligence, or data analyst role. Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas and data manipulation. Experience working with reporting tools such as BusinessObjects, Power BI, or similar. Ability to analyse and interpret large datasets. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable: SQL and Python experience. Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. SSRS report development experience. Knowledge of Excel VBA and process automation.
