Microsoft Azure Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure infrastructure for Accenture’s clients. You will guide cross-functional delivery teams, own the technical architecture, and drive secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions. You’ll shape migrations, hybrid-cloud initiatives, and governance with a focus on outcomes. This position offers visibility, impact across large engagements, and opportunities to influence cloud transformation at scale.

• Design, implement and manage enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure infrastructure
• Lead solutions across Azure networking, compute, storage, identity, security, monitoring and disaster recovery
• Work with Azure networking components: Virtual Networks, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, VPN/ExpressRoute, VMs and Storage
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep and/or ARM templates
• Drive automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI and DevOps practices
• Manage Azure migrations, infrastructure modernization and hybrid-cloud solutions
• Own end-to-end delivery including planning, estimation, scope, risks, dependencies, quality and timelines
• Lead and mentor infrastructure/cloud engineering teams
• Collaborate with architects, clients and senior stakeholders to deliver business outcomes
• Drive Agile delivery, governance, operational readiness and service transition
• Support solution shaping, proposals and cloud transformation initiatives

• Strong Microsoft Azure expertise with infrastructure/cloud engineering experience
• Hybrid cloud experience plus knowledge of on-prem design
• Hands-on experience across Azure networking, security and hybrid cloud
• Proficiency in Terraform/Bicep, PowerShell, Azure DevOps and CI/CD
• Experience with Azure governance, monitoring, backup, resilience and disaster recovery
• Proven delivery management and engineering team leadership
• Strong project governance, Agile and stakeholder-management skills
• Excellent client-facing communication and leadership capabilities
• Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications desirable
