Microsoft Consultant

In this role you will design, develop, and support .NET-based applications while leveraging the broader Microsoft stack. You will work directly with clients and stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to architectural decisions. You’ll help deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable systems, using a mix of C#, ASP.NET, and Microsoft technologies. This position offers hands-on development, client engagement, and opportunities to shape digital solutions for diverse sectors.

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain .NET applications and solutions
• Build scalable solutions using C#, .NET/.NET Core/.NET 6+ and related Microsoft tech
• Translate business and technical requirements into effective solutions
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and integration issues
• Develop and integrate APIs and services with existing systems
• Contribute to architecture, design standards, and best practices
• Perform code reviews and ensure secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions
• Work with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform where appropriate
• Develop VBA automation for Excel and Word
• Create and enhance Word macros for document automation
• Develop Crystal Reports for business reporting as needed
• Identify opportunities to modernize using Microsoft technologies
• Produce technical documentation and support knowledge transfer
• Manage multiple projects with high delivery standards
• Stay updated on .NET and Microsoft ecosystem developments

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET
• ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core experience
• Strong OOP and development principles
• Experience with REST APIs / web services
• SDLC knowledge and coding best practices
• Relational databases experience (SQL Server)
• Git or similar source control
• Understanding of architecture, integration, security, and performance
• Good experience with Microsoft 365 (M365)
• Power Platform experience (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• VBA solutions development (Excel automation)
• Word macros and document automation
• Azure familiarity (advantageous)
