Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric & Power BI

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join an established, technology-driven organisation and take ownership of its Microsoft data platform.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with Microsoft Fabric, SQL and Power BI , developing data pipelines, integrating business systems and delivering reliable data solutions to support reporting and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Microsoft Fabric Lakehouses, Warehouses, Data Pipelines and Semantic Models.
• Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines, integrating SQL, SAP and other business systems.
• Manage data quality, governance, security and performance.
• Develop and support Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Support SQL databases, including troubleshooting, migration and optimisation.
• Work with stakeholders to deliver scalable data and analytics solutions.

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong Data Engineering experience with Microsoft Fabric .
• Excellent SQL skills and experience with ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience with data modelling, integration and API connectivity.
• Understanding of data governance, security and data quality.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable:

• Power BI, DAX and semantic modelling.
• SAP integration experience.
• Python or PowerShell scripting.
• Microsoft certifications.
