Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer

Build Microsoft Fabric solutions at 360insights using PySpark and Power BI to support reliable, scalable analytics for business and client reporting.

This mid-level Data Platform Engineer works across ingestion, transformation, pipelines, platform operations, and reporting modernization. You will develop lakehouse models, validate data, and maintain governed reporting assets. The role supports operational insights, business reporting, and client-facing needs through modern engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build transformations with PySpark notebooks and Dataflow Gen2
• Develop bronze, silver, and gold data models
• Implement incremental loads, CDC, watermarking, and Delta MERGE patterns
• Monitor pipelines, lakehouses, semantic models, and platform processes
• Develop Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and reports

Requirements:

• Two to five years in data or analytics engineering
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or modern cloud data platforms
• Production pipeline and data transformation experience
• Strong SQL and Python skills, including PySpark
• Knowledge of warehousing, modeling, and ETL or ELT practices
