Microsoft Security and IT Analyst

Support Microsoft security technologies and users as an Ottawa-based IT and Cybersecurity Analyst working hybrid, with one on-site day weekly. Strong English and French are required.

This early-career opportunity blends cybersecurity monitoring with practical technical support. You will gain exposure to Defender, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication, Microsoft 365, identity lifecycle activities, and incident response. Your work will help keep systems secure, reliable, and accessible for a professional membership organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor dashboards, system logs, and security alerts
• Escalate potential threats and incidents when required
• Support identity lifecycle activities, password resets, and access requests
• Configure laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and software
• Support vulnerability remediation and security awareness initiatives

Requirements:

• Up to two years’ experience in a related technical environment
• College diploma in information technology or cybersecurity
• Foundational Active Directory, Entra ID, and networking knowledge
• Familiarity with Microsoft security technologies and remote support tools
• English and French fluency with strong troubleshooting skills

Develop practical security expertise while supporting Microsoft technologies, identity access, vulnerability remediation, and users across Ottawa’s membership organization.
