Overview

You will join an innovative ethical fintech startup to own and ship features and APIs. You’ll build and scale cloud-based services across C++, Python, and TypeScript, with a strong emphasis on AI-assisted development and AWS. In this role you work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure software that fuels the product. You’ll contribute to core services, tooling, and client-facing applications while enjoying autonomy and remote collaboration. This is an opportunity to influence product direction in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain C++ services with AWS integration
  • Build Python microservices and tooling
  • Develop React/TypeScript applications
  • Utilize AWS, Docker, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
  • Support deployment and scaling of AI/ML services
  • Write high-quality, tested, and secure code
Key requirements
  • Strong commercial C++ experience
  • Professional experience with Python and ideally TypeScript
  • Experience with AWS/cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices and CMake
  • Strong Git, testing and Linux/CLI skills
  • Experience with Cursor and/or Claude Code
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently
  • Desirable: Open Banking, fintech/payments, React, OAuth2/OIDC or DynamoDB experience
