Overview

As a mid-level engineer, you contribute to Azure infrastructure projects under experienced mentors, delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions. You work with cross-functional teams to apply best practices in CI/CD, monitoring, and security within Azure, while embracing IaC to automate configurations. You’ll stay current with Azure services and support reliability and performance through troubleshooting. This role blends hands-on learning with real project impact in a consultancy serving UK public services.

Responsibilities
  • Support Azure infrastructure projects under senior guidance
  • Implement CI/CD, monitoring, and security practices in Azure
  • Collaborate with development teams to deploy scalable, secure cloud solutions
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate and standardize Azure configurations
  • Shadow and learn from experienced team members to drive continuous improvement
  • Stay updated on Azure services and assess their impact on projects
  • Assist in troubleshooting and ensuring system reliability and performance
Key requirements
  • Experience with Azure infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and security in Azure
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Ability to work under mentorship and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Security clearance eligibility: British citizen or settled status with 5 years in the UK and no extended absence over 30 days
