Mid-Level Software Developer

• Actively contribute to the development of tools, services, and platforms
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and share knowledge of products and best practices
• Continuously review and improve the team’s work practices and methodologies
• Collaborate with technology teams, the business, and third-party vendors to improve processes and services or develop new services
• Gather and document user requirements and develop user stories
• Plan, write, test, and maintain web, mobile, and desktop application code in an Agile environment

Requirements

• Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken
• Node.js/Express
• React
• HTML/CSS
• Java, particularly Spring/Hibernate, C#, or Ruby on Rails
• Bash/Shell scripting
• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, NoSQL databases including MongoDB or CouchDB, Redis, and GraphQL
• Experience with REST, TDD, Docker, Jira, and Git
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Understanding of REST, HTTPS, and WebSockets
• API design
• University degree in a relevant discipline
• Experience with AWS, CQRS, event-sourced architectures, continuous integration, OWASP, ISO 27001, ISO 27032, microservices architecture, open-source projects, scalable applications, and asynchronous programming is considered an asset
• Scrum Professional certification is considered an asset
