Overview
As a Middleware Engineer in our UK IT Engineering & Delivery team, you will design, build and support integration solutions for mortgage origination and servicing platforms. You will work with Axway and JBoss on Linux, delivering secure, scalable integrations as part of large mortgage projects. You’ll collaborate with product owners, developers and third-party partners to meet milestones and resolve technical challenges. This role offers hands-on impact in a hybrid, cross-functional environment with opportunities to grow your expertise in enterprise integration. You will help shape resilient mortgage technology that supports customers and communities.

- Design, develop and support integration solutions using Axway and JBoss on Linux to deliver mortgage platform projects
- Provision and maintain development and test environments; support build automation and deployment activities
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, development teams and third-party suppliers to reach milestones and solve technical issues
- Identify technical risks, dependencies and opportunities for improvement; implement secure, scalable solutions
- Support production implementations and provide technical guidance during complex incidents
- Strong technical expertise in Axway or JBoss on Linux (ideally both)
- Experience with Bash scripting and build automation
- Proven background in application development or middleware engineering
- Solid Agile delivery experience with Jira and Confluence
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
