Migration Lead – eDV Cleared

Location: Cheltenham
Clearance: Active eDV required
Working pattern: 3 days on site

We are seeking an experienced Migration Lead to support a complex technology transformation programme in Cheltenham. You will take ownership of migration planning and delivery, coordinating technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure a controlled, secure and successful transition between systems, platforms or environments.

This role requires strong delivery leadership, excellent stakeholder management and the ability to manage complex dependencies, risks and timelines within a highly secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of migration activities across the programme.

• Develop and maintain migration strategies, plans, schedules and cutover approaches.

• Coordinate technical workstreams, business stakeholders and third-party suppliers.

• Manage migration risks, issues, dependencies and readiness activities.

• Oversee migration testing, validation and quality assurance.

• Coordinate cutover planning, execution and post-migration stabilisation.

• Ensure appropriate governance, reporting and escalation throughout delivery.

• Communicate progress, risks and key decisions to programme leadership.

• Support business readiness and ensure minimal disruption during transition.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience leading migrations within complex technology or transformation programmes.

• Strong planning, governance, risk and dependency management skills.

• Experience coordinating multiple technical and business workstreams.

• Understanding of testing, cutover, go-live and post-migration support.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

• Experience delivering within highly secure or regulated environments.

• Active eDV security clearance.
