Mining Investment Banking Associate

Apply financial modeling and transaction analysis as an Investment Banking Associate at Canaccord Genuity, working in-office five days weekly. Support mining-sector advisory and financing transactions with deal teams.

This associate role works alongside Canaccord Genuity professionals, including senior principals, across transaction development and execution. You will contribute to valuation, research, due diligence, presentation materials, offering documents, and transaction marketing. The position requires investment banking experience, quantitative strength, and careful execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop financial analyses, valuations, and detailed transaction models
• Prepare presentation materials and offering documents
• Research companies and mining industry dynamics
• Conduct due diligence for advisory and financing transactions
• Market transactions with Canaccord Genuity deal teams

Requirements:

• University degree in a business-related discipline
• Minimum two years of similar investment banking experience
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance preferred
• Strong financial modeling and quantitative skills
• Analytical, resourceful, diligent, and detail-oriented approach
