Salary: $62,400 - 104,000 per year

• Strong Python skills and a solid foundation in training pipelines.
• Experience with computer vision tools such as OpenCV, PyTorch, or TensorFlow, including at least one year working with YOLO.
• Demonstrated experience deploying machine-learning models on edge devices; familiarity with hardware acceleration such as Apple Neural Engine or GPU is preferred.
• Proficiency with a mobile development framework such as Dart/Flutter, JavaScript/React Native, Swift, or Kotlin.
• Familiarity with data annotation, augmentation, and model optimization.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to solve problems independently and investigate deployment issues.
• A portfolio or GitHub link demonstrating prior object-detection projects successfully trained and deployed to production or an edge device, such as a webcam, phone, or Raspberry Pi.
• Applicants should be based within reasonable commuting distance of Adairsville and available for frequent onsite collaboration and travel to our plant.

• Build a functional prototype of a mobile warehouse utility app that uses on-device AI to count stacked supplies.
• Train a lightweight, commercially viable custom object-detection model to identify pallets, top frames, and layer pads across varied lighting conditions and viewing angles, using a framework such as YOLOv8, YOLOv11, YOLO-NAS, or YOLOX.
• Establish a streamlined annotation workflow, using a tool such as Roboflow or CVAT, to label 300–500 inventory images.
• Export and optimize the model with Core ML or TensorFlow Lite so it runs locally and offline in the mobile app.
• Create a clean, simple interface that displays real-time counts and bounding boxes over a live camera feed or uploaded photo.
• Work directly with one of our company owners to develop, refine, and test the prototype.

We are offering an immediately available project expected to last four to eight weeks, with the possibility of additional project work afterward. The role is expected to average 40 hours per week, with an hourly rate listed as $30–$55 based on experience and a separate pay range of $30–$50 per hour; a $5,000 completion bonus is also offered.
