Mobile Device Operations Manager

Lead Purolator’s mobile device operations with Android enterprise mobility and MDM expertise in an office environment. Manage technology supporting the national network.

The Mobile Device Operations Manager owns operational device services, lifecycle planning, availability, security, and cost-effective management. This manager leads three direct reports and partners with IT, Operations, Security, vendors, and project teams. The scope includes rugged Android scanners, tablets, label printers, batteries, and related accessories. The role also coordinates reliability and security remediation for assigned IT operations applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own mobile device services, roadmaps, refreshes, deployments, and improvements
• Govern inventory, provisioning, repairs, redeployment, and secure retirement
• Oversee MDM profiles, applications, Android updates, and staged rollouts
• Lead device support staff, service levels, escalations, and coverage
• Manage vendors, budgets, contracts, procurement, and operational reporting

Requirements:

• Post-secondary technology education or equivalent practical experience
• Progressive enterprise device management or IT operations experience
• Direct people leadership or substantial team-lead responsibility
• MDM, Android deployment, procurement, inventory, and lifecycle experience
• English proficiency for frequent stakeholder communications
